Thanks to all of the bands who joined us and supported this cause, and especially to those of you who attended!
The benefit concerts were for the Waverley Care/Milestone Hospice in Edinburgh.
Charity Registration No. SC036500
Waverley Care provides care and support to people living with HIV and/or Hepatitis C in Scotland. Whether someone is living with HIV or Hep C, or are the partner or family member of someone affected, we have services that offer them support and provide up to date information and resources.
My sister Pam Blyth passed away in September 2011 after a long battle with HIV.
She was diagnosed in the early 80`s with the infection and her health went up and down throughout the years. Her spirit stayed strong though, as anyone who knew her can attest.
Throughout this time she was helped out by the Milestone Hospice in Edinburgh, Scotland. Not only did she stay in there at times but they also offered her plenty of support in the outside world as well. The following page is dedicated to raising money for the Milestone Hospice through their parent charity Waverley Care. Click Here
There is also a benefit/memorial concert for the hospice, and is taking place on the weekend of 24th/25th March 2012 at Bannermans Bar in Cowgate, Edinburgh. Details are below…
I`d like to thank you for any donations, no matter how large or small, you are able to make for this good cause.
All the best,
Jock Blyth
